Warcraft 1.26 Patch is now officially released. This is new hotfix update shortly released after Warcraft 1.25b Patch. It brings some tweaks to Hex mechanics and fixes a major disconnection issue with Mac while playing on Battle.net realms. Updating to Warcraft 3 TFT 1.26 patch is necessary as it fixes some DotA mechanics.

How to install Warcraft 3 1.26 Patch

Choose one of the following ways:

- Use Warcraft 1.26 Switcher to upgrade. (Warcraft Version Switcher)

- Use Warcraft 1.26 Patch offline upgrade file from Blizzard (not available)

- Install Warcraft 3 TFT 1.26 Patch via Battle.net automatic update. (Requires original Warcraft 3 CD-Key)

Warcraft 3 TFT/ROC 1.26 Patch Notes:

Fixes:

• Hex will no longer provide a speed boost to a Hero if cast at the end of Metamorphosis or Chemical Rage effects.

• Reverted the 1.25b fix, "Hex will no longer extend the duration of Metamorphosis."

• Fixed an issue where some Mac patches could lead to disconnections during Battle.net games.

Common Issues/Notes:

• If you are receiving "Warcraft/InstallPath" error while installing War3 1.26 Patch, Read this guide.

• You can use Warcraft Version Switcher 1.26 easy upgrade, if you have v1.25b previously installed.

DotA 6.72 is going to be the next map of IceFrog's DotA series. In the recent versions, there were many new heroes introduced as well as few items. DotA 6.72 is likely to be another balance patch like DotA 6.71. IceFrog may introduce some items and gameplay changes from community suggestions.

DotA is almost reaching the maximum map size limit of Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne which is 8MB. The last v6.71 was 7.33MB so, it probably means that IceFrog may release couple versions more with new content before DotA 2 goes live.

Warcraft 1.25b Patch | Warcraft 3 TFT v1.25b Patch Download, Changelogs

Warcraft 1.25b Patch is now released by Blizzard after a brief peroid of time. The new Warcraft 3 TFT 1.25b patch update brings numerous balancing changes to the races and items. It adds support for widescreen resolutions and fixes vulnerabilities to various exploits and hacks. By releasing this patch Blizzard proved that they still care for Warcraft 3 even after 7 years.

You can choose one of the following methods to update:

1. Install War3 1.25b Patch using offline upgrade from Blizzard FTP.

2. Use Warcraft 1.25b Switcher (Warcraft Version Switcher).

3. Install Warcraft v1.25b Patch via Battle.net auto-update. (Requires original Warcraft 3 copy)

o Improved Masonry Upgrade health boost decreased from 20% to 10% for all 3 levels

* Scroll of Town Portal will no longer be consumed when casting fails when used at the same time that your Hero is Hexed.

* Hex will no longer extend the duration of Metamorphosis.

* Hex will no longer disable mana or health regeneration of Heroes.

* Wisps Detonate ability will no longer drain mana from Heroes while under the effects of Potion of Invulnerability.

* Fixed an issue where players were able to ally with opponents when alliances were locked ("share hack").

* A gold exploit with buildings has been fixed.
